On this graduation day, the GAHS Library would like to thank former graduate, Madison Wildenstein, for her book gifts to the library.
The classic, The Haymeadow, needed replaced since our copy is falling apart. And the other two titles are recent publications that students are sure to love. Thank you Madison for remembering the library!

It's officially ! 📖📚
Across the Commonwealth, learners are discovering the joys of libraries: whether through programs like storytimes and makerspaces or assistance with career and technology questions, the library has it all. Throughout the week, we'll be highlighting what sparks joy for library patrons, staff, + volunteers who make libraries such a special place.

I love attending a librarian conference where I can meet other librarians and learn from them!

Today and tomorrow we are featuring the public speaking exhibit. AP Seminar students are required to give a presentation as part of their AP test. Today, they will be learning how to be a better public speaker in anticipation for that event.

Our latest display is not books, but rather student projects from the American Civil War class. Students spent time researching a certain component of the Civil War and built a 3-D model. Stop in the library today.

There’s no better way to spend a weekend than to have a cup of hot cocoa and a good book. Stop by the library today and pick up a book or two to read this weekend.

I had a great seat to see award winning author Jason Reynolds speak this morning. What a great opportunity to hear him speak about his books and his life.

I’m enjoying my first ever AASL conference in Missouri. I met author Jennifer Nielsen and lots of other wonderful librarians from across the country. I was the recipient of the Bound to Stay Bound travel award that helped make this trip possible.
I can’t wait to share all the things that I learned with the students and my colleagues.

It’s been a busy time at the library. We recently hosted an interactive exhibit with the monster stories English class. These are images of the exhibit, but I forgot to take pictures of the students using them.🤦🏼♀️
