The Lincoln Fellowship is very pleased to make this announcement.

That special guest we told you about last week? We are pleased to announce that our Abraham Lincoln, as portrayed by Billy Campbell, will be pulling into the Gettysburg Lincoln Railroad Station™ on Northern Central Railway's William H. Simpson No. 17 steam locomotive! The engine is a working 1860s-era replica steam locomotive that honors the historic train which carried President Abraham Lincoln.

Design: It is a 4-4-0 American-style standard steam locomotive.

Builder: Dave Kloke built the engine in Elgin, Illinois.

Fuel: It looks like an old wood burner, but it runs cleanly on recycled waste oil.

Namesake: The train honors Bill Simpson, a co-founder who dreamed of bringing the historic rail line back to life.
