Join us this evening, April 24th, or tomorrow night, April 25th, at 7:30pm at the Majestic Theater for Opera Workshop's production of the Merry Widow! Franz Lehár’s beloved operetta The Merry Widow premiered in 1905 and remains as timely as ever. Set in glamorous 1920s Paris, the story follows the wealthy widow Hanna Glawari and the roguish Count Danilo Danilovitch - former lovers reunited amid a scheme to save Hanna’s homeland of Pontevedro from financial ruin. As sparks fly and secrets unfold, wit and stubbornness collide. Filled with lively dance and memorable melodies, this delightful production is sure to leave your heart light and your toes tapping.

Please join the Gettysburg College Jazz Ensemble (Amanda Heim, director) and Camerata (Robert Natter, director) on Saturday April 18th at 8:00pm in the Majestic Theater as they present the music from the landmark Miles Davis album "Birth of the Cool". New World celebrates 20 years of the Sunderman Conservatory of Music with a program full of energy, color, and excitement. Join us tonight, Friday, April 17 at 8:00 p.m. at the Majestic Theater for an evening that brings powerful music to life.

Led by César Leal, the concert features vibrant dances by Antonín Dvořák and Alexander Borodin, alongside Jonathan Russell’s Bass Clarinet Concerto, performed by concerto competition winner James Humphrey.

The evening builds to the unforgettable finale of Dvořák’s New World Symphony, one of the most iconic and exhilarating endings in all orchestral repertoire.
