On 2021, we salute Harriet Tubman and Eleanor Roosevelt--both are key historical figures in our industry-leading experiential leadership training programs.
Tubman is featured in our "Many Faces of Leadership" program, which offers a variety of strong leadership models, both military and civilian. This program focuses on adapting in the face of sweeping change and forging new opportunities.
"Leading Through Kindness and Compassion: Lessons from Eleanor Roosevelt" traces the life of this trailblazer for civil rights and women’s rights. Working through the toughest years in America’s history—the Great Depression and World War II—she delivered her positive views to the public through radio, newspapers, magazines, and public speaking. A woman who overcame shyness, self-doubt, and criticism, Roosevelt became a politician, diplomat, and activist, and was dubbed the “first lady of the world” because of her global social justice work.
