Honoring a powerful legacy.

Last Thursday marked the 20th anniversary of the Derrick K. Gondwe Memorial Lecture on Social and Economic Justice, featuring guest speaker Dr. Abigail Disney!

President Iuliano, Jevon Gondwe, and Dr. Eloísa Gordon-Mora delivered welcoming remarks, followed by a dynamic panel conversation between Dr. Disney and department chairs Dr. Jennifer Collins Bloomquist (Africana Studies) and Dr. Zhiuing Hu (Economics).

We're grateful to our co-hosts: Africana Studies, EPACC, and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, and to everyone who joined us for these vital conversations.
