When we're not telling the stories of our collection, we like to visit our neighbors for lunch. Yesterday, our curator hit up Dobbin House Tavern for the King's Onion Soup and datenut bread! Today feels like a good day for Abe's favorite fish tacos at Fourscore Beer Co. And, we're open, too, from 11-4! Swing by Lomas Center Museum and tell us your favorite Gettysburg Lunch spot, and we'll show you our favorite artillery piece!

Congratulations to the Adams County Historical Society at Gettysburg as they celebrate the opening weekend of their new Museum, featuring exhibits about Gettysburg's civilians and experience during and after the battle! Make time to visit their lovely new site on Biglerville Road, and when you stop here at the Lomas, show us your photos!

The Lomas Center Museum will be open this weekend! Come visit our collections from 11-4 Saturday and Sunday, April 15 & 16, if you've got your taxes all straightened out. While your visit is free, your donation is not only appreciated, it's a write off! See your docent or curator for a receipt!
