They had a great time attending the Ron Clark Academy last week in Atlanta! They were able to collaborate with other educators, administrators, and leaders for the betterment of our school. 😊

They came back with some wonderful new ideas ready to lead with knowledge to kick off the 2026-2027 school year! 🤗🐉🐲

Our Ren Team just got back from an incredible four days of a rootin’ tootin’ good time at the Jostens Renaissance Global Conference in Orlando, FL! 🌴

They spent four days collaborating with other educators, leaders, students, and administrators from all across the US. It was impactful, energetic, and insightful with one goal in mind=providing students and staff with the best and most positive school experience! ✅

The Ren Team is inspired, engaged, energized, and ready to bring back all the great things they learned to the 2026-2027 school year! 🤗

🏈🎭 Free Sports Physicals & Health Fest for Athletes and Fine Arts Students from WVU Medicine

Berkeley County students can receive a free sports physical for the 2026–2027 school year at the WVU Health Sciences Center on the Berkeley Medical Center campus.

Behind the Dorothy A. McCormack Center

📅 Dates & Schools:
Tuesday, June 2 — Musselman High School & Spring Mills High School
Wednesday, June 3 — Martinsburg High School & Hedgesville High School
Thursday, June 4 — Middle Schools, Berkeley County affiliated high schools, and make-up appointments

⏰ Time:
5:30–8:00 p.m.
Registration begins at 5:00 p.m. at the BMC pavilion behind the Dorothy A. McCormack Center.

✅ Important Reminders:
Forms must be completed and signed by a guardian before registration.
Middle school students MUST have a guardian present to receive a physical.

On Tuesday, May 26, all student iPads & chargers are due! Please bring both the iPad and the charging set to your morning homeroom where you will be turning them in for the summer (unless your parents filled out the opt in form by May 8th that was shared in the Principal's weekly newsletter). During homeroom, teachers will be collecting items to be stored by the technology department and returned to students upon arrival back to school in the Fall.

WVU Medicine is offering free sports physicals for all middle and high school students again this year, June 2–4, 2026, at the WVU Health Sciences Center.

A completed WVSSAC Student Athletic Physical is required for participation in middle and high school athletics. Students can also receive required immunizations by appointment from the Berkeley County Health Department during the event on June 2 & 3.

Take advantage of this free opportunity to complete your required physical, update immunizations, and get cleared for the upcoming sports season!

The yearbooks are here and will be distributed at a special event on Thursday, May 21st. No one will receive their copy before May 21st. If you did not order a yearbook and still wish to purchase one, a limited number is available. Your best option is to visit jostensyearbooks.com or go to MRMS website and you can order your yearbook from there. This will put you on the distribution list. Mrs. Lohr cannot guarantee any will be available to purchase at the school on May 21st. The cost is still $35.
