Lessons With Lisa You can now find Miss Lisa at the Wisconsin Academy of Music on Mequon Road in Germantown. Miss Lisa has been working with children and music for over 30 years.

She earned Bachelor degrees in Music Performance and Early Childhood Education from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. Miss Lisa’s goal as your flute and/or piano teacher is to help you learn how to read music and understand theory while you master the basics of playing your instrument. Once students have these concepts in place they are a big part in choosing the music to play. In additio

n to beginning students Miss Lisa enjoys helping flute players prepare for the Solo and Ensemble Festival each year. Miss Lisa believes that learning can and should be fun. She has many music theory games that will get students off the bench. Stickers and rewards are also handed out generously. Miss Lisa believes that music is a true gift to be shared and enjoyed. Her favorite saying, “Many of us have favorite musicians, I create mine.”
