I am looking for 3-4 students who struggle with reading and/or spelling to join me for 12-15 months of daily group Wilson Reading System instruction.

The group tutoring will be free.

However, each student must complete 50 lessons.

The students must be in the fourth grade or higher and must be free of any major behavioral challenges.

The lessons may take place online and/or in person. Please let me know if you know of any students that could benefit from this opportunity. Thank you.

It’s called Overcoming Dyslexia: A New and Complete Science-Based Program for Reading Problems at Any Level, by Sally Shaywitz, M.D. For anyone interested in learning more about dyslexia, or if you have a child, student, or if you yourself are dyslexic, this book is a must read. In her May 7th article, CA State PTA Adopts Statewide Dyslexia Resolution, Tobie Meyer states that, "The California State PTA voted UNANIMOUSLY in favor of adopting a statewide resolution entitled “Dyslexia: Addressing the Educational Implications in Public Schools” submitted by San Ramon Valley Council of PTAs with help from Decoding Dyslexia CA (DDCA).
