Since 2017, our studio has had the great privilege of working with Russell Coltharp, one of the finest piano technicians I’ve ever known. With unmatched ears and masterful hands, he kept our pianos singing, and by extension, made all of our musical lives better. He never sought the spotlight, but his work was foundational to everything we did.

He passed away recently after a hard-fought battle with cancer. I didn’t know much about his personal life, but I knew his integrity, his sharp mind, and his quiet devotion to his craft. We are deeply grateful for the years he gave us.

May every note played on these pianos continue to carry a bit of his legacy.

Congratulations to Daniel Marshall on his senior recital! Daniel has shown remarkable dedication and skill throughout his piano studies. His recent achievement as the winner of the Beethoven Club Young Artist Competition 2025 (Intermediate division) attests to his growing artistry and technical proficiency. This recital showcased Daniel's passion through a diverse repertoire.
