Willow Creek Child Care Inc Willow Creek Child Care is a comprehensive early childhood facility dedicated to providing children and parents with quality education and service.

At Willow Creek, children develop caring attitude for others as they grow cognitively, physically, socially and emotionally. With the qualified staff and professionally planned room arrangements the children have opportunities to learn and develop individually and as part of a group. All toys and equipment are specially designed for young children. Our daily program consists of art experiences, fi

ne and gross motor activities, circle or group times, stories, music, math/science activities and language/pre-reading skills. Willow Creek’s overall curriculum is based on several key ideas.
1. Children learn through play, their learning experiences and environment.
2. The teaching staff uses developmentally appropriate practices in the classroom and takes advantage of teachable moments.
3. Daily routine and meaningful experiences enhance children’s learning.
4. The teaching staff makes adjustments in their teaching for the needs and interests of individual children.
5. Children develop every day; socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically.
6. Literacy and language development are emphasized daily in the classroom.
7. Positive reinforcement and guidance is necessary for building relationships with children.

*We are seeking a full-time 4K teacher who has experience working in a childcare center and has the desire to make a difference in the lives of young children! Competitive pay, vacation time, paid holidays, continuing education support, childcare discount and insurance offerings!

Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities:

*Attend to each child's specific needs such as holding, comforting, feeding, diapering, etc.
*Observe and evaluate children's performance, behavior, social development and physical health. Record this information on progress reports and in portfolios.
*Create exciting lesson plans based on child observations and goals.
*Teach skills such as color, shape, number and letter recognition, self-help skills and social skills.
*Read books, sing songs, perform fingerplays and flannelboard stories to entire class or to small groups.
*Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental and social development such as games, arts and crafts, music and storytelling.
