When Morgan entered Bodine School in the 4th grade, they were reading at the 1st grade level. After just two years of remediation, Morgan was reading at the 6th grade level and ready to transition to Lausanne Collegiate School, where they went on to take high level International Baccalaureate English. This past Saturday, May 25, Morgan graduated Cum Laude and will attend Agnes Scott College this fall to pursue a career in writing.

Congratulations, Morgan! We could not be prouder of this former Bulldog.

Bodine Alum, Logan Park, was this year's recipient of The Laura Pearsall Award at Woodland Presbyterian School.

The Laura Pearsall Award for Exceptional Effort is given in honor of a former student who attended Woodland from 1975 to 1983. Although born with a disease that left her ill, Laura was determined to live her life as any other teenager. Her courage, determination and desire to lead a meaningful life continues to serve as an example to today’s students. It is in loving memory that this award is given each year to the eighth grade student who emphasizes this same spirit.

The award is given to the student who exemplifies perseverance, displays strong character, is hard working and is committed to academic studies. Also, the student who has made great strides throughout their Woodland career and worked hard to meet his/her academic goals.

We are so proud of Logan's journey and how hard he's worked to get here!

We always love to hear about our former Bulldogs! Share your at [email protected].

The latest craze of Stanley brand cups has taken Bodine School by storm, with students and staff alike jumping on the bandwagon. However, when Mr. Murphy attempted to join in on the fun by showcasing his childhood Stanley cup, he was met with a mixed response from the kids. While the enthusiasm for Stanley cups is evident throughout the school, it seems Mr. Murphy may have missed the mark with his nostalgic choice. Stay hydrated, Bulldogs!
