Sienna Ferraro is a newly inducted Student Representative on the Valley View Board of Education. Recently, Sienna was invited as a panelist for the DO STEM Fall Convening: Aptitude to Action, Translating Student Data into Dayton’s Future STEM Workforce.

Sienna shared her voice and helped attendees understand how students experience opportunities firsthand. Her perspective was a powerful reminder that the work Career Navigators and others do needs to begin with students and the strengths, interests, and aspirations they bring.

You can view the entire presentation at the YouTube link in the comments.

Valley View wants to showcase its outstanding educators! This week, we are introducing you to Mr. Chad Evans!

Mr. Evans teaches American History and AP American History. Last year, Mr. Evans had a 97.2% passage rate on the state test, and 73% of his AP students scored a 3 or higher.

Mr. Evans began his teaching career in 2014. His favorite part of the job is getting to share and dive deep into the topics he’s passionate about! When Mr. Evans is not teaching, you will find him playing disc golf, skateboarding, and playing his guitar and banjo!

[This celebration and recognition of Valley View teachers is the work of our High School Media and Film students.]

This Friday's Varsity Football game is Valley View at Brookville. Always a great match-up, the Spartans look to remain undefeated and secure the League title! Hope to see you there!

Brookville is having a Pink Out for the game and invites our fans to participate. They will have luminarias for purchase and raffle basket tickets. All proceeds will be donated to Pink Ribbon Good.

Our band, cheer, and football players can participate by taking a lap around the track at the conclusion of the game, win or lose, because cancer knows no boundaries and all those affected need to know we support them no matter what. Let's show a unified front between both schools and come together in this fight.

General public pre-sale tickets can be purchased online through Hometown Ticketing.

Stadium Address for Fans:
