One thing we are intentional about at Somos Early Learning is creating an environment where children feel safe enough to explore, ask questions, make choices, and learn through play.

Our routines, learning spaces, activities, and interactions are designed with children’s development and well-being in mind. Kudos to our staff for preparing this beautiful environment for our new and returning students. We are ready for an exiting new school year!

🎉 What a wonderful way to end an amazing school year! 🎉

We celebrated our last day of school with a fun-filled Carnival Day alongside our students and families. The day was packed with laughter, smiles, and unforgettable memories as everyone enjoyed ice cream, popcorn, cotton candy, moon bounces, face painting, games, and so much more!

As we reflect on this school year, we are incredibly proud of all our students and the tremendous growth, learning, and accomplishments they achieved. Their curiosity, kindness, confidence, and love of learning have made this year truly special.

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful families for your trust, partnership, and support throughout the year. We are grateful to be part of your children’s early learning journey. ❤️

Now, we are excited to kick off our extraordinary Summer Program! We can’t wait to welcome our campers next week as we “sum-merge” into our first week of summer adventures, exploration, creativity, and fun!

🎉 BIG NEWS! 🎉

Somos Early Learning is excited to announce that we are now participating in the Montgomery County Early Head Start Program!

This means eligible families may qualify for FREE full-day childcare and early education services for children from 2 to 3 years old.

At Somos Early Learning, children benefit from:
🌱 A nurturing Montessori-inspired environment
🗣️ Bilingual learning in English and Spanish
📚 Developmentally appropriate learning experiences
🤝 Family support and community resources

If you live in Montgomery County and have a child 2 to 3 years old, we encourage you to apply and see if your family qualifies. Families must earn no more than 100% of the Federal Poverty Level to qualify.

🚒✨ Firefighter Visit at Somos Early Learning! ✨🚒

This week our students had an unforgettable experience with the Howard County Fire Department! Children explored the fire engine and ambulance, learned about the gear and equipment, and even practiced important fire prevention tips. 🔥👩‍🚒👨‍🚒

The highlight of the day was trying on firefighter helmets, sitting in the driver’s seat, and discovering the ladder, hoses, and giant wheels up close. To top it off, the children got to see the firefighters in action as they received a real call just as the visit ended—what perfect timing!

At Somos Early Learning, we love creating engaging, hands-on experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence, and connect children to their community. 💡🌟

A huge thank you to the Howard County Fire Department for inspiring our little learners and for the important work they do every day! 🙌❤️
