RCMS PTSA FACEBOOK RULES

1. BE KIND AND COURTEOUS
We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.
2. NO HATE SPEECH OR BULLYING
All debates must be in line with the IB mentality that two opposing views may both be equally valid and treated with respect. We ask that you open your mind to an opposing view being presented and reflect before answering. If necessary, agree to disagree, but do not allow disagreements to become negative. Passive aggressive comments, insults, and words that can be construed as becoming personal will not be tolerated.
3. NO PROMOTIONS OR SPAM
Give more than you take to this group. Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links aren't allowed.
4. RESPECT EVERYONE'S PRIVACY
Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared in the group should stay in the group.
5. MAINTAIN A COMMON VISION
Members share an overall vision of equity and fairness at SVHS and in MCPS schools. Posts should focus on SVHS/MCPS, the students, the educators, and the communities that surround these schools.
6. VIOLATION OF RULES RESULTS IN REMOVAL
If a member violates one or more of the above rules, then the moderator reserves the right to remove that member from this group.
