To all Neelsville Middle School Families:
Due to today’s economic conditions, the build-out of the new Neelsville Middle School which many of us have been anticipating is $12 million over the initial budget estimate. There is going to be a Board of Education meeting tomorrow in Rockville to approve that this project goes forward as planned. Previous Neelsville parent, Norm Gordon will be giving a testimony at this meeting sometime between 12:40 -1:40 p.m. to implore the BOE to approve the Award of Contract so they can break ground asap and build the school by 2024. We need as many people as possible at the meeting to help our cause!
