Rockfield Fall Marathon 🏃🏽

The start of school is right around the corner and that means so is the Rockfield Marathon! The PTA is hosting the Marathon September 14-25 during school lunch recess. The marathon promotes physical fitness, while recognizing students' hard work, dedication and accomplishments.

Students will have two weeks to complete the laps in September and two weeks in May. Laps are recorded by parent volunteers and students who complete 7 laps per day (in both spring and fall) will complete a full marathon and receive a medal at the end of the school year. Students who complete a half marathon will also receive a medal.

Thank you all for coming to our Open House tonight, it was so good to see students and families back in our building! We hope you enjoyed the shorter lines in the gym, got to meet Dr Unertl, and smiled for your picture! It’s going to be a great year. 🤓

Thanks to all the groups that came and joined us, including our Rockfield Elementary PTA, Kids Klub, Riteway, Food Service, the Village of Germantown, Germantown Community Library, the Boy Scouts, and EduStaff. Thanks also to our staff for putting in extra and long hours today!

Our theme for this school year is one that showcases teamwork, the importance of coming together despite our differences, to achieve great things. Homerooms have been assigned and posted to Skyward, you can log in and click on ‘Student Info’ to see which teacher your child will have. Teachers return officially next week!
