Mary Jo Piano Lessons Learning and fun are KEY! Fostering and nurturing the natural abilities of each student is a core principle.

Experienced piano teacher focused on growing students’ technical skills and performance capabilities, as well as instilling a love and appreciation of the practice. Students learn in an emotionally safe, fun and disciplined environment. They are free to express who they really are and are encouraged to be the best they can be by being taught with kindness, patience, honesty and, of course, musicianship. Mary Jo also continues her own learning process by taking piano lessons and performing regularly, which is an inherent part of her desire to be the best teacher she can be. Naturally through her own practice, she is continually evolving her musicianship. This enables her to better mold/adapt lessons to her individual students’ needs, for she understands the ‘student experience’ as well.

From Maria! Let me know if you (or a friend) are interested.

I have a Wurlitzer upright piano that I'd like to find a new home for. I'm located in Boyds, MD (Montgomery County) and would need someone to pick up the piano and get it to its new home. Do you know of a student who might like to have it? It's in beautiful condition with just a few scratches, all keys and pedals work and just needs to be tuned. Photos are attached.
