I currently offer private tutoring services (grade1- 4 math/ grade 1- 8 reading/ELA) as Head Teacher at Tutoring with Teacher Angela in the Germantown, Ohio area. I hold a BS degree in Elementary Education from Miami University with 15+ graduate credits from University of Dayton. I hold a current TESOL teaching certificate and am a certified QESP for the OHIO ACE education program. I have over 20

years of tutoring experience/ classroom teaching experience/ Reading Specialist experience combined. I work closely with students, families, and schools in order to initially assess and plan for each child’s needs. Every learner will receive an individualized lesson plan and monitoring program that we complete weekly. Families and teachers will have access to our weekly progress and reporting. Our tutoring appointments are limited in time to ensure maximum involvement and attention. I pride myself in creating fun and interactive learning activities that involve elements of play to ensure engagement and individualized attention. As always, I stay on top of current trends and studies, in the education field, in order to provide the most current and evidence-based practices/interventions. I am regularly adding new activities, structures, and learning games to our lesson plans and researching new ways of helping each student. My fees are a flat 30$/30 minute session- Monthly tuition rates are billed through Venmo. Feel free to message me! We can chat with no obligation!

💨 🍃March winds were sending lucky leprechauns 🍀 over the rainbow 🌈☁️ 💰this week in tutoring.
Students were rewarded with a game that required them to effectively use an air pump to blow as many paper leprechauns as possible over the rainbow. Students used problem solving and some basic physics to move the most they could in under 1 minute!
😊 I loved seeing the smiles and the “aha moments”.
📌REMINDER: no sessions on Monday, March 16, due to Valley View students being off school.
