⚠️ WEATHER UPDATE: Kids Summer Meal Pack Pick-Up Rescheduled!

Due to the forecast for severe weather during this evening's pick-up window, tonight's Kids Summer Meal Pack distribution has been moved to Tuesday, June 2.

All pick-up locations and times will remain the same — just shifted by one day.

☀️ Summer just got even better, Bulldogs! ☀️

FREE summer meals are back, and we’re excited to kick things off with our FIRST summer meal pack pick-up this Monday! 🎉🥪🍎

Beginning May 28, weekday meals will also be served at Lincoln Elementary to help keep our kids fueled, active, and ready for all the fun summer adventures ahead. 💙🐾

💪 Ayler Bell and Diego Escalera brought home the GOLD in Unified Shot Put!
• Ayler – 42’8.5”
• Diego – 38’0.5”

👏 Jaxie John brought home hardware with a 5th-place finish in Shot Put, launching a throw of 41’10.5”!

💥 Rylee Luce wrapped up with a 6th-place finish in the 300 hurdles, running a blazing 45.64!

🏃‍♂️ Axton Stone closed out his remarkable career with an 8th-place finish in the 1600, clocking a 4:24.14 to earn another spot on the podium!

🎉Michael McBride had a great performance in the Wheelchair 800, finishing in 3:19.70!

⚡ Our girls 4x100 relay team of Rylee Luce, Aubrey Anderson, Parker Palser, and Finley Rotherham finished 12th overall while running a season-best 49.97!

🚨State Track Update & New School Record🚨

Axton Stone places 5th in the 3200 and sets a new school record with a blazing time of 9:28.66! 🔥

He breaks the previous record of 9:39.07 set by Todd Tripple back in 1997 … a mark that stood for 29 years!

What an incredible accomplishment! Congrats, Axton! 💪

Community partners like the Midwest Theater remind us what it truly means to unite in support of students. They didn’t just share a building ... they became part of our Bulldog family this year. 🎭

Because of their generosity in partnership this year during our auditorium renovations, our students were still able to take the stage for:
- 16 performances
- 15 rehearsals
- Supported by countless hours of stage setup, lighting, and sound support

As a small token of our appreciation, we proudly celebrated at our end-of-year event and presented the team at the Midwest Theater with an All-Access Bulldog Pass to every Gering performance during the next school year. Where this time, they can simply be our guests and enjoy the show!

Yesterday at our year-end celebration, we honored several Bulldogs who truly go beyond for Gering Public Schools. 🐾

What makes the Bulldog Going Beyond Award so special is that each recipient is nominated by their fellow teammates ... the people who see their heart, dedication and impact every single day.

While classrooms closed for the summer and students headed into break, we spent the afternoon celebrating something special ... our Gering Bulldog team. 🐾

Today, we honored the commitment and heart our staff bring to Gering Public Schools each and every day by recognizing years of service. From first-year milestones to decades of commitment, these Bulldogs have helped shape generations of students and strengthen the pride of our district.
