First Day of School at Grace!

Our youngest Griffins learned the ropes of the playground while our seniors watched the sun come up on the first day of their final year. 🥹 From Kinder to Senior year, we’re grateful for every chapter in between and the privilege of watching our students grow in wisdom and in faith.

Back to school, Grace style! 🎣☀️

Our Family Retreat was a reflection of all things we love about this community! Families enjoyed fishing, ropes course adventures, water volleyball, and a highly competitive (and highly entertaining!) parents’ wiffle ball game.

We’re grateful for this fun, fellowship-filled tradition and the chance to begin another school year simply enjoying time together. Here’s to a great year, Griffins!

At Grace Academy, parent partnership is part of who we are.

Throughout the year, our parents faithfully invest in the life of our school. They read in classrooms, coach on the field, serve behind the scenes, lead family retreats, fire up the smokers for school events, and quietly meet countless needs along the way.

Every tradition tells a story. "Running the Hill" on the last day of school symbolizes the hard work and perseverance of our students. From Kindergarten through the Senior class, each grade races toward the finish line, celebrating another year of growth in knowledge and virtue. The race is short, but the formation behind it is the work of a year. 🏃‍♀️‍➡️🏃‍➡️

The way children learn changes as they grow. The Trivium is a time-tested model of education that aligns teaching methods with a child's stage of development.

📖 Grammar School (K–5th)
When children are young, their brains are like sponges. They collect words, memorize songs, absorb facts, and surprise us with everything they can remember and recite.

🔍 Logic School (6th–8th)
As children mature, their minds begin searching for reasons behind what they know. They start asking "Why?" They question. They challenge. They want to understand why things are the way they are.

🎤 Rhetoric School (9th–12th)
And eventually, they begin finding their voice. They want to share their ideas, defend their beliefs, and make their case.

The Trivium simply recognizes what parents already know: children first love to learn, then they love to question, and eventually they learn to communicate what they believe.

Rather than fighting against a child's natural development, the Trivium harnesses it.

Field Day 2026! ☀️ It’s hard to believe this was already three weeks ago. We hope your summer is full of popsicles, sunshine, great books, and time with the people you love most. We miss these smiling faces and are already looking forward to another wonderful school year together!

Books. Screens. Friends. Culture. Every day, children are surrounded by voices. That’s why “how to think” matters more than ever.

A classical Christian education equips students to recognize weak arguments, spot fallacies, think logically, and test what they hear against what is true. This happens in Socratic discussions. In presentations. In essays. In mock trials. Again and again, they’re learning to pause and ask: What is being said? Is it true? How do I know?

The goal isn’t only to prepare students for the next test. It’s to prepare them for life. 🌱
