KAPS kids participated in The third annual Arm & Hammer Baking Soda Rocket Day took place on October 8, 2026.

S.T.E.A.M was completely embedded in the two week long project.

We had success and failures but the is exactly what learning is all about.

Students worked hard, had fun, made a lot adjustments to their rockets.

KAPS kids participated in The third annual Arm & Hammer Baking Soda Rocket Day took place on October 8, 2026. Rockets were made, directions were followed, and adjustments were made. This was a lot of fun and work for students but they loved every minute of it. We will do this again!

In preparation for The third annual Arm & Hammer Baking Soda Science Rocket Day that takes place on October 8, 2026. We started our test flights today. As you can see this students has a good grasp on the scientific process. Just sometimes you don’t know if the experiment is going to work! We did two launches, made adjustments and will try again tomorrow! This has been a big project for the kids at KAPS and with that comes BIG learning! #2026

Building a city was the project, but the learning taking place is priceless. There has been failure, arguments and debates. There was a few set backs and reorganization! There have been “ I want it this way” but the plan had already been laid and agreed upon. And one of the biggest learning is patience and continuous work. In the day of “everything is done fast” this has been the biggest learning. I am so thankful for parents that truly understand the gift of time. This project has incorporated many skills and I wish more kids were able to experience this! KAPS are top notch once again!
