Career and Technical Education (CTE) prepares students for success beyond graduation, and this week, CTE Coordinator Paul Boff helped inspire educators from across Texas to do just that.
As keynote speaker at the Region 7 CTE Summit, Paul encouraged teachers to embrace growth, step outside their comfort zones, and use the summer months to prepare new ideas and opportunities for students. More than 160 educators attended the event focused on collaboration, innovation, and strengthening CTE programs.

We're proud to see Paul's leadership making an impact across Texas and helping shape the future of career and technical education.

We know that students learn best when they're in school, and we're incredibly proud of the shared effort to support student attendance in GISD.
This semester, average daily attendance improved district-wide, and it shows! Preliminary STAAR data shows 14 campuses with gains.
Thanks to Happy Chicks Chicken Kitchen, Texas Honey Ham Company, and Schlotzsky's Deli for sponsoring attendance initiatives and helping students find success.

Recently, a parent told us how GISD makes their children feel "seen, challenged and encouraged".
When families feel connected and supported, their students can thrive. In Georgetown ISD, we make that connection a priority.
