Hot meals will be served at Southern:
Breakfast 8:30-9:15
Lunch 11:00-12:45

Quick Reminders:
‼️ Only children 18 and under can be served
‼️ Meals must be consumed on-site (this means students have to eat in Southern's cafeteria - no carryout option)
‼️ Families can only participate in one option - if you choose to sign up for the 7 day pickup meals, you CAN NOT receive a hot meal at Southern as well. This is the same program with 2 options of service.

During the last week of school, mentoring club wrapped up the year with a trip to Evans Orchard and Cider Mill! Despite nearly 2 weeks of rain before, we ended up having such a beautiful day 🌞

💛 Mentors for showing up to spend time with our students each week!
💙 Georgetown Men's Association for donations to help the program be successful!
💛 Georgetown Men's Association, Georgetown Police Department and Harmony Christian Church for being the connection piece for so many of our amazing mentors!
💙 Evans Orchard for partnering with us to ensure our group had the very best time for our day on the farm!

A week late sharing, but the only programming this week was pre-registration with spaces filled!
Check out some things happening this month during breakfast or lunch here at Southern with Ms. Sidney! Programs are only open for current Southern Elementary students. I will have a sign at the SUNmeals door sharing where students can join me for the activity!

I want to give a HUGE shoutout to Faith Baptist Church! On closing day they treated our whole staff to an amazing breakfast 💙 I am so thankful that Faith has such a big heart for Southern and cannot wait to see what amazing things we do together next school year!

As we celebrate the last day of school & 5th grade graduation, I just have to give the biggest shoutout to my FRC Assistants this year! These girls helped with everything from weekly food bag distribution to helping with tasks for other events. Stuffing 450 seed kit bags is not for the faint of heart. They got it done in just a few days with some friends!

Avery and Peighton,
I am so thankful to have had you on my team this year! You both saved me more than once on crazy busy days. I loved how willing you both were to hop in and be helpful for different things throughout the year. I hope your giving hearts continue to grow and that everyone who gets the chance to work with you sees how amazing you are! You will do great things, I know it ✨️
