🎉 BIG NEWS FOR GEORGETOWN COMMUNITY SCHOOL! 🎉
We are incredibly proud to share our 2026 Colorado School Performance Framework results!
GCS earned 90 out of 100 points and received an official Performance Plan rating of 90! 💙💚
But the part that makes me the proudest is our Academic Growth. Our students Exceed Expectations in Academic Growth, earning 100% of the available growth points.
Behind every one of those numbers are our kids and our teachers.
Our students worked hard. Our teachers worked hard. Our families supported them every step of the way. And our entire GCS community continued to believe in what is possible for our students.
This is what happens when you know your students, meet them where they are, and help them grow.
I am so incredibly proud of our students and our staff. ❤️
Way to go, GCS! You earned this! 🎉
Small school. Big growth.

At Georgetown Community School, we are proud to be a place where dedicated staff, supportive families, and an engaged community work together to create meaningful learning experiences for every student. From hands-on learning to real-world problem solving, our students continue to embrace new opportunities with curiosity, responsibility, and determination. Their hard work and enthusiasm are what make Georgetown Community School such a special place to learn and grow.
Thank you to everyone who helps make this possible.

At Georgetown Community School, a hydroponics program is helping students grow far more than lettuce. Inside a third-grade classroom at Georgetown Community School, students monitor nutrient levels, care for fish, and harvest lettuce destined for the cafeteria salad bar.
