Come out to Historic Georgetown, Inc. this Saturday, August 1st, is a celebration of the 150th year of Colorado becoming a State! Georgetown Community School will have a brat booth at Strauss Park and a plant sale going on as well! All proceeds from the brat booth and plant sale will directly support GCS! We can't wait to see everyone there!

At Georgetown Community School, a hydroponics program is helping students grow far more than lettuce. Inside a third-grade classroom at Georgetown Community School, students monitor nutrient levels, care for fish, and harvest lettuce destined for the cafeteria salad bar.

Back to School Night is coming up!! Georgetown Community School (Clear Creek School District RE-1) will be hosting our Back to School Night on Thursday, August 6th, at 4pm. If you haven't enrolled your student at GCS yet, you can do so at Back to School Night!! We will also have classroom tours, a chance to meet our fantastic teachers, enrollment stations, Ms. Hunny Bun from the Clear Creek Library, and more! We can't wait to welcome everyone back, meet new families and students, and start the 2026/2027 School Year off strong!!!
