It is graduation day for Phoenix Horizon Community! Celebrate the PHC Class of 2026 this evening (Thursday, May 28, 2026) at 6:30pm in the gym at Scott County Middle School located at 1080 Cardinal Drive. Parking and entry at the rear of the building.

The rain held off, the skies cleared, and our Phoenix Horizon Community crew showed up strong for the parade tonight! From the smiles along the route to the incredible support from our community, it was a beautiful evening to celebrate together.

We are so proud to walk beside students, staff, families, and supporters who make PHC what it is, a place of resilience, connection, and second chances. Thank you to everyone who cheered us on and helped make tonight special.

Tonight, we had the honor of celebrating two very deserving individuals at the Scott County Schools District Recognition Dinner.

Congratulations to our Teacher of the Year, Devon Pefrey, and our Employee of the Year, Curtis Williams!

Both were recognized by the district and presented with plaques honoring their dedication, hard work, and the impact they make on our students every single day. Their commitment to building relationships, supporting students, and creating a positive school community does not go unnoticed.

We are incredibly proud to have them represent our campus and grateful for the difference they make in the lives of students and families.

A heartfelt thank you to Josh from the Georgetown Walmart team for thinking of our PHC staff during Teacher Appreciation Week. 💜🧡

Josh shared that he comes from a family of educators and understands the hard work, heart, and dedication that Scott County teachers pour into students every single day. That message meant so much to our staff.

He surprised our team with a beautiful cake and thoughtful gift bag filled with goodies for staff. Acts of kindness like this remind us how fortunate we are to have community partners who support and encourage educators.
