We've been rolling through 2021-22! Last night we received a wonderful compliment from a new client. After a Pre-Calculus session, the student said, "You know, I really wanted to hate you. I was so mad at my mom for setting this up and I was determined not to come back. But you're so nice and I actually LEARNED!" Then the student set up regular sessions!

IT'S EVERYWHERE... and you CAN do it!

We want to acknowledge the hard work of three of our students!

Katlyn from Georgetown came to us with a failing grade in dual credit college algebra, but she put in the time and not only rescued her grade, but earned her college credit too!

Priscila from Arizona took TWO math classes, with geometry as a completely independent study. She earned an A and will graduate this May!

And longtime student Isabella from Arizona (6 years with us!) earned A's in all of her math classes, including AP Calculus. She will graduate with honors this May!

YES we're still taking students!! We're currently running all sessions on Zoom due to COVID restrictions. Virtual learning is tough in a large group setting, but one-on-one is much more personal, adaptive, and helpful! Give it a try... every student who has this year has stayed with us during this rough time and been successful!

Good morning! For our local clients -- Scott County Library is no longer allowing tutoring due to COVID restrictions. :( We continue to provide Zoom services every evening from 3-10 EDT. Those who have worked with us on Zoom can attest that it's NOT the same as those whole-class Zooms students have done with their classroom teachers! It's one-on-one, individually designed, with tutors that have extensive training and experience with online learning. We work with students all over the country (and world) via Zoom and have proof it works when done well. Shared screens and integrated technology let us converse with students in a very personable atmosphere. TRY IT AND SEE!! One session and you'll be surprised!

With the restrictions in place for COVID-19, Georgetown Math is extending hours and offering discounts. We'll now offer sessions M-F, 3 pm - 10 pm Eastern time. Like and share for a $10 discount on sessions until October 15th (possibly longer if restrictions remain). Let's keep our teenagers learning!

Lessons from home this week!!

GET THE WORD OUT.... Since so many students are home doing NTI work, we are making ourselves available on Skype from 3-6 pm Eastern time Mondays through Thursdays. You can find us on Skype by searching for gtownmath1 or by our business phone, 502-530-0852. Once you find us, please let us know who you are and what class you need help with.

We ask that you please understand that there may be times we are scheduled for one-on-one time with a student and may be online outside of those hours for that purpose. We might also refer you to one of our (or a colleague's) YouTube videos for help as well. We are cranking ours out as fast as we can and welcome suggestions for topics.

We welcome donations for our time, but it is not required. We're all in this together, trying to make ends meet. But our kids are more important than anything we can (try to) buy off the shelves. Let's keep them learning!
