Welcome to Adult Education at Sussex Tech! Our goal is to meet the career training and educational needs of our local communities.

Sussex Tech Adult Division is in our sixth decade of providing instructional services to adult residents of Sussex County and our neighboring communities. Congratulations to Ethan and Jesse, the newest members of our James H. Groves Adult High School Class of 2026! Ethan is currently working full time in the automotive industry, and he wants to earn more certifications to help him advance in his position. Jesse plans to enroll in our Heavy Equipment Apprenticeship program. Good luck! We are proud of you!
Our James H. Groves Adult High School graduation will be held on June 11th at 7 pm in the Sussex Tech gymnasium. All are welcome. No tickets are required.

On May 21st, Sussex Tech Adult Education held its Health Professions and Nursing graduation. 185 students earned at least one certification in the following programs: Nursing Assistant, Phlebotomy, EKG, Medical Assistant, Dental Assistant, Home Health Aide, Medical Billing and Coding, and Pharmacy Technician. Nursing Assistant is a State of Delaware certification, and all others are national certifications.
66 students were dual enrolled high school students from Laurel, Seaford, Cape, Delmar, Sussex Central, Milford, and Sussex Tech.
95% of this years graduates are employed!
