My extensive experience in the childcare industry started back in 1990 when my first child was born. I started my career as most of us do in the classroom.
I started as an infant teacher and then moved my way around the centers, until I had experience in every age group. I became the proud owner of New Life Christian Academy in 2003. Through my extensive knowledge of quality standards based on ITERS-R, ECERS-R, SACERS-R, and PAS, I was able to achieve the Arkansas State Accreditation for New Life Christian Academy from 2004-2007. In 2007 My family wa
s relocated to Tennessee at which time I had to sell the center. After a short time in Tennessee my family moved back to our home in Texas. I then started directing, coaching and mentoring at a corporate center in. I was able to bring this company from an 87% Quality Assurance Rating to 100% Quality Assurance rating for the first time in the company’s history in April 2013. This came just a year after I took over the school as the director. During my tenure with this company I brought the school from 1 building with a successful infant through preschool program to 2 buildings incorporating Kindergarten, first grade and after school age children. I also developed and Implemented procedures to maintain NAC AdvancedED, and P21 Accreditations that we held. In addition to the accreditation experience, In September 2011 until current, I was successful at achieving the Texas Rising Star (4- star) Certification for another child care facility in Round Rock, Texas. I became a Texas Registered Trainer in 2013 and just feel in love with the world of training and mentoring others. My passion for the children of our future is why I do everything I do to help the teachers, directors and owners have successful centers.
