Congrats to Zach Moon of Texas Gamma (Southwestern University) for becoming Iron Phi #1,236. He has raised $1,000 and completed the Major League Lou Gehrig Workout (4k run + 100 push-ups + 90 squats + 300 sit-ups + 90 lunges)

Iron Phi is an excellent organization that promotes both physical activity and awareness for those who are who suffer from ALS. Change of plans for today🚨
7:00 we will have a tab at Mesquite creek Outfitters which is on the square! If you are in town feel free to come out to that. The house will be open still though so feel free to stop by and check it out if you haven’t been in a while.

We are very excited to finally have alumni back in the house on Homecoming weekend which will be on October 15-16. We are planning on having an event at the Phi house on Friday the 15th, where we will start barbequing at 4:00. Y'all are more than welcome to come before then.

On Saturday, the football team will be playing Howard Payne at 1:00 and the guys will set up tailgating around 11:00 a.m. if y'all are in town and want to show up to that. After the game, we will have open house where alumni and families can come stop by the house to visit as well. If y'all have any questions, feel free to reach out. See everyone soon!

Brothers, family, and friends,
I am Wil Herbst, the current Texas Gamma President, and I wanted to give y'all some updates with the chapter. This past semester, we finished with 58 brothers and #1 GPA out of the fraternity's with a 3.263 average. Additionally, we had 6 brothers receive All Conference awards for Lacrosse and Football.

This next semester, we will be switching back to full capacity in the Phi house and will start house renovations next week. With that being said, Covid restrictions are loosening which means we will be able to have events at the house again. We are planning to have several alumni events over the course of the year to make up for the lost time during Covid so be on the lookout for those dates once we figure out some free times. For now, mark on your calendars that Homecoming is on October 16th. Once the school officially announces that all the Covid restrictions are gone, we will send out invites for several alumni events including Homecoming where all the guys can hang out at the Phi house again! I look forward to seeing all the brothers coming together once more. Please let me know If y'all have any questions!

We at PDT TX Gamma are excited to announce the 1st Annual Phi Delta Theta Golf Tournament held at Teravista Golf Club on May 2nd. Tee off will commence at 8AM and there are plenty of ways to get involved as a player, sponsor, and more. This charity event is aimed to benefit our philanthropy, Live Like Lou. The mission of LLL is to provide aid to families that are affected by Lou Gehrig’s Disease and to research new ways to treat it.
