Gateway Tech High School

Gateway Tech High School is thrilled to welcome Mr. Dan Becker as our new teacher for the 2026 27 school year. Mr. Becker is already familiar with our campus, having worked onsite for the past four years as an Educational Diagnostician for Orenda Charter Schools. Before that, he taught Algebra for five years at our sister school, Gateway College Prep.
Mr. Becker holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the State University of New York College at Geneseo and a Secondary Math Education certificate from Queens College in New York. He also earned a Master’s degree in Special Education and a Diagnostician certificate from Lamar University.
Mr. Becker lives in Temple with his two cats and is the sole breadwinner in the home. Welcome to Gateway Tech, Mr. Becker!
