National Hispanic Heritage Month is almost over, and it wouldn't be the same without our annual walking taco event at James E Mitchell Elementary School GISD!

This years theme is: Unidos, Somos Más" (Together, We Are More). And this couldn't be more true for the entire Mitchell Mavericks Community!

We love supporting our teachers and staff and hope we made this short week worth celebrating!! 🌮🎉

🌟We only need $6000 to reach it!🌟

The fundraiser will remain open through the end of day on MONDAY! Don't forget to share your donation page, complete acts of kindness this weekend and fill up your passport and turn it in for a chance at the final draw from the mystery prize box on Monday!! There are so many kind things you can accomplish at home and around town this weekend!

A quick reminder that any students that have reached their fundraising goal will receive their monster pillow and pizza blankets next week once the shipment arrives!! 👾🍕

The student who raised the most funds will receive a very special prize!!

The class that raises the most funds collectively will get to choose from having a Woot Woot wagon OR a special party!

And if we hit our overall goal, the school will get to do something silly to Mrs. Moore and have a dance party!!!
