A healthy classroom starts with healthy habits! 🌈💕

At Leaps and Bounds Learning Center, we believe that keeping our children healthy is a team effort between our teachers and families.

From practicing good handwashing to recognizing when little ones need a day of rest, small steps make a BIG difference!

Thank you to our amazing families for helping us keep our classrooms happy, healthy, and full of learning! 🥰

About the Owner

Hi, I’m Kristin! My journey in early childhood education began with a genuine love for children and a desire to make a difference in their lives. Before opening Leaps and Bounds Learning Center, I owned and operated a licensed in-home childcare program and worked as an Early Childhood Interventionist, where I had the privilege of supporting young children and their families during important developmental years.

For the past 7 years, I have been blessed to call Leaps and Bounds Learning Center my own. What started as a dream has grown into a place where children are loved, families feel supported, and teachers are valued. I truly believe that early childhood is the foundation for a child’s future, and I am passionate about creating an environment where every child feels safe, loved, confident, and excited to learn. I am so proud of the community we have built at Leaps and Bounds and grateful to every family who trusts us with their most precious little ones.

Hi everyone! I’m Mikayela, the Director here at Leaps and Bounds! 💛

I’ve been in childcare for about 10 years and have had the opportunity to work as a nanny, a teacher, and now a director. I’ve always had a heart for working with children and love getting to be a part of their growth and all the little moments along the way.

I’m also a wife and mom, so I know how important it is to feel confident about the people caring for your babies. My goal is to help create a place where our children feel loved, safe, and excited to come each day—and where our families feel at home too.

I’m so thankful to be a part of Leaps and Bounds and can’t wait to continue getting to know all of our amazing families! 🫶
