Our Teens had the best time at Teen Conference last week! We had 2 emerald finalists and 4 teens complete their silver level achievement. We also had the pleasure of seeing one of our own retire his officer jacket! We are so proud of all that these Scott County teens have accomplished!

*In order to get a spot a completed application along with the $175 deposit needs to be turned in at the office!*

Scott County 4-H June Newsletter!

Hello Everyone!

As you might have seen in this month's 4-H Newsletter, we are holding a second round of Fair Project Classes between May 12th-14th! We still have open spots available for those who would like to participate.

Classes include:
May 12th - Floor Plans
Have an interest in design or architecture? Come create your own dream home floor plan!
May 13th - Dreamcatchers
Learn the history and craft your own Dreamcatcher
May 14th - Snickerdoodle
Enjoy cooking or baking? Come practice the official 4-H recipe for Snickerdoodle Cookies!

All classes will be held at the Extension Office from 4pm-6pm and are completely free. If you'd like to sign up for one session or all three, please call the Extension Office at 502-863-0984. We hope to have you all out for a fun evening of creativity!

For tonight we will be offering indoor waiting starting at 3pm to hopefully get people out of this bad weather coming through!

This past week four Scott County 4-Hers got to take the trip of a lifetime to see the 250th Anniversary of the country through the C3-C4 4-H Founding Footsteps Trip. We got to explore Boston, New York, and Philadelphia and experience the American Revolution.
Keep your eyes out for more trips like this in the future!
