Georgetown College supports students through a Food Pantry, made possible by generous donations from alumni and friends. Our Dean of Students and Campus Minister, Rev. Dr. Bryan Langlands, received a donation from Rev. Andrew Singh of the First United Methodist Church of Georgetown, who matched a Good Samaritan grant administered through the KY Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, for a total donation of $1000!

Carolyn Schnurr '06 is a game changer! Featured in the Spring 2026 GC Moments Magazine, she talks about choosing two majors at GC because she loved to read, and both English and philosophy had large reading lists. She also talks about how her professors nurtured her belief in a purpose-driven life, which has guided her throughout her career. Joining the U.S. Navy JAG Corps gave Schnurr the same sense of shared interest, common goals, and direction that she had as a GC volleyball athlete.
