🚨 Artist Reminder: Know Your Worth! 🚨Exposure does NOT pay the bills. 🛑I recently received an offer to be featured in an article, only to find out they wanted ME to pay a "participation fee" to be included. I quickly shut that down. Paying a publication to write about you isn’t journalism—it’s just vanity publishing and buying ad space disguised as an editorial.Reputable publishers pay creators for their stories and talent; they don't charge them.As artists, we put our hearts, souls, and immense labor into our work. Never let a company convince you that you should pay them for "visibility." Stand firm, know your value, and never work for free exposure! 💪🎨✨
