We are so excited to welcome Mr. Croll to Georgetown Elementary this year, along with our returning IRAP teachers and staff!

We are excited to welcome Mr. Beau Croll as our new Grade 2–3 Autism Teacher at Georgetown Elementary School!

Mr. Croll is beginning an exciting second career in education after previously working in environmental science and with Schell Brothers. Most recently, he served as a paraprofessional at North Georgetown Elementary, where his experience working directly with students helped lead him to his next chapter—joining us as a teacher!

Mr. Croll is excited to get started, build relationships with his students and families, and meet his new superheroes! 🦸‍♂️⭐

We are so excited to welcome our Georgetown Elementary students and families back to school! As we prepare for a smooth and safe start, please take a moment to review the Parent Drop-Off & Pick-Up information in the pictures below. 🚌🚗

⏰ Doors Open: 8:20 AM
⚠️ After 8:45 AM: Students are considered late.
🚗 Pick-Up Begins: 3:20 PM

📍 Parent Drop-Off & Pick-Up: Please use the designated GE Parent Loop. Families using the Football Field Parking Lot for drop-off or pick-up should get in line in the parking lot to help prevent traffic from backing up along Market Street.

📝 Attendance Reminders:
Please submit all absence and vacation notes to the office for approval. Our attendance policy will also be sent home in your child's folder during the first week of school.

We treated our amazing office team to breakfast as a small glimpse of our appreciation for ALL they do each and every day. ☕🥐

Mrs. Marta, Mrs. Annie, Mrs. Rebeca, & Ms. Antoinette are the people we simply couldn’t keep GE together without! From answering questions and phones, registering students, completing school orders, helping families, supporting staff, and doing a million things behind the scenes, they are always there when we need them! 📞📝

Our School Improvement Team has been working collaboratively to strengthen our practice and ensure that we are intentional in everything we do for our students.

Together, we have internalized units and lessons, aligned classroom expectations, strengthened our positive behavior systems, and reflected on the many ways we can create consistency, connection, and high expectations throughout GE.

As school leaders, we are learning and growing together because when we work together, our students benefit. We are committed to making Georgetown Elementary the very best place for every child to learn, grow, and thrive.

A little more appreciation for our custodians! 🐟💙

Our GE custodians decided to create a delicious fish fry luncheon, and we couldn’t let the day go by without celebrating them!

We honored their hard work and dedication throughout the summer with a little gift for each of them and, most importantly, some time together enjoying a meal and each other’s company.

Our custodial team works tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure Georgetown Elementary is ready for our students and staff, and we are SO grateful for everything they do!

GE truly has the BEST staff! Knights taking care of Knights! 👑
