Three years in a row! 🏆🔥 Huge congratulations to our Culinary Arts students for taking 1st place at today’s Escoffier Mystery Basket Competition!

This year’s mystery ingredients were steak, soy sauce, black garlic, shiitake mushrooms, and beef consommé—and our students turned them into a championship-worthy dish. We are so proud of their creativity, teamwork, and talent in the kitchen! 👏👨‍🍳👩‍🍳

Big congratulations to our SkillsUSA State Champion in Aviation Maintenance Technology for earning a $7,000 scholarship from UTI! 🎉✈️ Hard work, talent, and dedication continue to open doors to an exciting future. We are so proud to see our students achieving big things and taking the next step toward their careers!

Last Friday, Georgetown ISD gathered for the State of the District at the Future Ready Complex. The evening highlighted the incredible work happening across our district—from innovative student programs to community partnerships that support learning and opportunity for all. Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate our students and hear Dr. Padavil share the vision for the future of GISD.

East View TAFE represented us well at the Texas State Conference in Dallas! 🍎✨

Three students competed among 3,700 future educators from across the state:

🥉 Annabelle Lessuk – Public Speaking (Student-Centered Assessments)
🥉 Ella Clarke – Educational Leadership Fundamentals Test
⭐ Kinsey Stauffer – Educators Rising Moment Speech (Advanced to NATIONALS!)

Kinsey will compete in Portland, Oregon this June — we are so proud of these young ladies and their incredible work representing East View! ❤️
