🌟 Meet Whitney Sands! 🌟

Whitney is one of our Summer Fun Camp Aides at GCA this summer! A Georgetown native, Whitney currently attends Tarleton State University, where she is studying Agricultural Education.

Having grown up in Georgetown, Whitney says it has been especially meaningful to spend her summer serving families in the community that has given her so much. She has been a wonderful addition to our camp team, helping create fun memories and capturing special moments along the way.

We're already in Week 2 of Summer Fun Camp, and Whitney has loved getting to know our campers and being part of all the excitement. We're so thankful to have her at GCA and can't wait to see what the rest of the summer holds!

🌱✨ Exciting things are growing at GCA! ✨🌱

On Saturday, our campus took the first step toward a project we’ve been dreaming about…a student garden that will become an outdoor classroom, a place for discovery and a space where students can experience the rewards of hard work firsthand.

This project would not exist without the dedication and leadership of GCA dad Mr. Marshall, who poured countless hours into planning and designing this incredible garden. We are so thankful for his investment in our students and school!

We’re also grateful to Clarke Kent Plumbing for generously providing dirt and materials to help make this vision a reality.

Finally, thank you to the volunteers who showed up ready to work and support our school community. Your willingness to give your Saturday made a tremendous difference.

In the months ahead, our students will be planting, tending, learning and growing right alongside this garden. We can’t wait to see the lessons, memories and harvests that come from this space.

The ground has been broken, the work has begun, and we are excited for all that’s ahead!

That's a wrap on Summer Camp Week 1: Game Week!

From life-size outdoor games and fair game day to popsicles, swimming and plenty of silly fun, it was a week full of laughter, friendship and unforgettable memories. We can't wait to see what adventures Week 2 has in store! 🎉

As we settle into summer, we’re still smiling as we look back on our Graduation & Promotion Ceremony from a couple of weeks ago. 🎓✨

It was such a special evening celebrating our Kindergarten and 5th Grade graduates and recognizing the hard work and growth of every student. Our 5th graders were presented with Bibles as they prepare for the next chapter of their journey, while students across all grade levels received promotion medals in honor of a successful school year.

We also had the privilege of recognizing students for Academic Excellence and Christian Character, with each teacher selecting one student for each award. These honors reflect not only academic achievement but also the Christ-centered values we strive to cultivate every day.

We are so grateful for our incredible students, dedicated teachers and supportive families. While we’ve been enjoying summer break, we already miss seeing these smiling faces each day! We are thankful for the memories made this year and look forward to welcoming everyone back for another amazing school year.

Congratulations again to all of our students. We couldn’t be prouder! ❤️

5th Grade FUN!

Our 5th graders had an absolute blast on their final field trip today! From bumper cars and arcade games to testing their teamwork in the escape room, there were smiles, laughter and memories made all day long.

As the school year comes to a close, our hearts are a little sad to see them go, but we are so excited to watch them soar into the next chapter. These students are growing into such amazing young people and we know great things are ahead for each of them. 💙

As we wrap up an amazing school year, today’s Kinder Family Picnic was the perfect way to celebrate together! We loved spending this special time with our kindergarten families. What a joy it has been to watch these little ones grow this year.☀️

Teacher Appreciation Week is one of our favorite weeks of the year because we truly have the BEST teachers. 💛

Every single day, they pour so much love, patience, encouragement, wisdom and joy into our students. They pray with them, cheer them on, wipe tears, celebrate victories and help shape their hearts and minds in such meaningful ways.

We are endlessly grateful for the way our teachers serve our school community with excellence and love. Thank you for all the little things no one sees and all the big ways you impact our children every day. We appreciate you more than words can say!
