💙 HAPPY 75TH BIRTHDAY, MRS. McCUTCHEN! 💙

To know her is to love her, and we are SO thankful for the gift she is to our GCA family!

Mrs. McCutchen loves our students so well. She’s always there with an ice pack, a Band-Aid or just a comforting hug at the perfect time. She has a special way of making everyone around her feel loved, cared for and celebrated. Whether she’s caring for a scraped knee or making someone’s day a little brighter, she reminds us all what it looks like to love others well.

She spends so much time making our students and staff feel special, and today, it’s OUR turn to celebrate HER!

✨ First Chapel of the Year ✨

We kicked off our first chapel of the year with worship, the Word and a whole lot of joy. Our students lifted their voices in worship and were reminded by Mrs. Wonderly of the Fruits of the Spirit and what it looks like to reflect Christ in the way we live, love and serve others.

We also had the privilege of presenting our first Christian Character Awards of the year! What a special moment to celebrate students who are choosing to live out Christlike character in their classrooms and throughout our school. ✨

Our prayer for this year is simple: that our students would grow in knowledge, grow in character, and most importantly, grow closer to Jesus.

SEE YOU AT THE POLE 🙏🏻

This morning, our GCA students gathered around the flagpole to pray for our school, our teachers, our families, our community and our nation.

There is something incredibly powerful about seeing our students stand together, bow their heads and boldly call on the name of Jesus. 💙💛

We pray that what began around the flagpole this morning doesn’t stay there. That these students would carry their faith into their classrooms, their homes, their friendships and everywhere God calls them.

May we raise a generation that isn’t afraid to stand, isn’t afraid to pray and isn’t afraid to let their light shine.

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Starting the day rooted in God’s Word!

At GCA, each of our classes begins the day with something that matters most: Bible time, worship, and prayer.

Before the lessons begin and the busy day gets underway, our students have the opportunity to open God’s Word, lift their voices in worship and spend time in prayer together.

We are so thankful for the gift of being able to point our students to Jesus each morning and remind them that He is at the center of all we do. 💙

Today we’re celebrating our wonderful 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Lopez! We’re so thankful for the love, patience and joy she brings to her classroom each day. She has the special gift of making learning fun while helping her students grow in confidence, character and faith.

We’re blessed to have Mrs. Lopez as part of our GCA family and hope she feels extra loved and celebrated today!
