SHCTC Project Life Project Life SHCTC is a program designed to assist students in getting job ready after grade 12!

It’s almost time to register for the 2027 Brown County Night to Shine. To register you must be a Brown County resident who is 14 years or older, with a disability.

In-Person Registration:
Thursday, November 5th from 3-6pm
Georgetown Church of Christ Foyer
149 Hamer Rd, Georgetown, OH 45121
Limited spots available! Registration is
first come, first served.

Night to Shine is a complimentary event for people with special needs hosted by local churches around the world. We thank the Georgetown Church of Christ for hosting in Brown County! It will take place on Friday, February 12, 2027. 💙

🎡🐄 SHCTC will be closed September 28 through October 3 for the Brown County Fair. 🐖🎠

We hope everyone enjoys a fun and safe week at the fair, supporting our students, exhibitors, and community. Be sure to stop by and see the many SHCTC students showcasing their hard work and talents!

📸 Picture Day is October 5! 📸

Don't forget to order your student's pictures before Picture Day! Orders can be placed online using the ordering link https://mcintire-photography.hhimagehost.com/V2/Home/LoginConsumer?EK=334675 or by scanning the QR code provided.

✅ This is a Pre-Pay Event. Once portraits have been taken, the online ordering event will close.

If you do not place your order before Picture Day, you may: • Call the photography company after the event to place an order, or • Wait for proofs to be sent home with your student approximately 4-5 weeks after Picture Day.

Please note that orders placed after the event will have different package options and pricing, and shipping charges will apply.

Our interns had a very busy last 2 days! They ran 3 different popcorn bars for SHCTC Career Day 🍿

They popped, boxed, and served around 1,000 boxes of popcorn and did an awesome job!👏🏼

They may need a break from popcorn for a bit!

SHCTC Project Life interns know exactly what it looks like!

Our interns worked together as a team to come up with some ideas of what a great employee looks like. Their creativity, critical thinking and background knowledge came into play!

We are excited to announce that HealthSource Mobile Health Services will be coming to SHCTC this spring, bringing both mobile dental and mobile vision services directly to our campus!

This convenient opportunity will help students access important dental and vision care without leaving school, supporting their health, wellness, and success in the classroom.

We are proud to partner with HealthSource to make healthcare more accessible for our students and families. More information regarding services, scheduling, and consent forms will be shared as we get closer to the launch date.

Our interns had a busy week!

They’ve ran The Coffee Shop, refilled vending machines, worked at OVM, worked on their team working skills, and ended the week talking about tomatoes with Becky!

They used the tomatoes they grew last year to make a yummy cucumber salad and started to grow their tomatoes for next year! 🥗☺️

If you know DJ, you know this was his favorite thing this week! We are all rotten tomatoes around here 🤗😂
