Congratulations to Scott County Schools Superintendent Billy Parker, a Georgetown College alum, on this recognition!

Parker named superintendent of the year Scott County Schools Superintendent Billy Parker was recognized as superintendent of the year by the Central Kentucky Educational Cooperative and Eastern Kentucky University on March 20.

Meet Mr. Sammy Smith! He hails from Georgetown, Kentucky 🍗, and has joined as a student teacher 🍎 for part of the spring semester. He is working alongside Mr. Theisen in several Upper School biology/life 🔬🌱 science classes. A senior at Georgetown College, he will be graduating in May. 🎓

Sammy's decision to come to Budapest was driven by a desire to teach ✏️ and travel 🚢 ✈️ internationally. This is his first time living abroad 🌍 and experiencing a Christian school environment. He said, "I'm so thankful to be welcomed into ICSB for a time to see what God has in store for me!"

Fun fact about Sammy - he can identify all 196 flags of established countries around the world! Put his knowledge 🧠 🤓 to the test when you meet him. 🇺🇬 🇹🇩 🇵🇪 🇳🇵 🇲🇾 🇲🇼 🇰🇿 🇱🇺
