SCHS Cardinals Baseball

Last night marked the official conclusion of the 2026 SCHS Baseball season. At our end-of-year banquet, we had the opportunity to recognize more than half of our team for earning First Team All-State Academic Honors, awarded to student-athletes who maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher.

We also celebrated Will Rose for reaching the impressive milestone of 100+ career hits, commemorated with a special plaque. Our seniors were honored with custom Louisville Slugger bats, custom baseballs from True Blue Customs, and personalized wallets featuring their initials and jersey numbers.

Overall, the 2026 season was a tremendous success. We are proud of our seniors and excited to see all they accomplish in the next chapter of their lives. We also look forward to watching our returning players continue to grow and build on this year’s success as we prepare for next season.

The Cardinals travel to Sayre Athletic Complex to battle the Henry Clay Blue Devils at 8:00 tonight, following the 1 and 4 seed game of Sayre and Frederick Douglass. Show up and show out for your Cardinals, as they play for a spot in the District Championship!

With the 2-1 win over the cross town rival, the Cards improve to 23-10 on the season. Last nights Jersey Mike's Subs Player of the Game is our guy Tyler Wands. Wands was once again lights out on the mound with 7.0 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, and 1 K. Wands was also 1-2 at the plate with 1 RBI and 1 BB. Atta boy T-Dub!
