Heather shared her experience and expertise, detailing her journey from RT student to a leader in industry. Our students are starting their final semester with advice, tips, and insights from some of the best in the field!

Both cohorts kicked off the semester with an exciting, jam-packed week! We started with our senior Respiratory students demonstrating their favorite skills they’ve learned in the program thus far to the junior Respiratory students.

Up next… a visit from the AARC president-elect Mr. Joel Brown. This visit imparted inspiration and wisdom as Joel shared his rise from RT student to President-elect of the AARC.

The week rounded off with a talk from John Emberger—director of ChristianaCare’s Respiratory Care program! He led an innovative talk regarding AI in healthcare, research, and ventilator graphics.

The DTCC- Wilmington RC program is ready for a great semester!

The Respiratory Care students at Delaware Tech’s Wilmington campus had the opportunity for a specialized pediatric airway lecture led by the excellent Repsiratory Educators at Nemours Children’s Hospital. To further enhance their learning the students were able to perform a virtual reality trach change, using some of the most innovative technology.

The Wilmington-George campus RCT graduates spent their last clinical week presenting their research-based capstone projects, thanking clinical sites for all of the valuable learning experiences, and reflecting upon the last six semesters of hard work and dedication . These students have worked exceptionally hard and we look forward to seeing the impact they make upon the Respiratory Care profession!

The second-year students from the Wilmington-George campus had the privilege of attending their first of many DSRC conferences. During the conference students were able to network with respiratory professionals from the surrounding communities, learn about the latest innovative respiratory care technologies, and participate in educational lectures.
