🌺✨ In honor of Hispanic and Latine Heritage Month, we are proud to share this design created by our talented LatinXcel student worker, Mia Matos.
Mia’s design draws on the timeless beauty of Talavera tilework, a tradition that has endured through centuries as a symbol of cultural resilience and identity. At its center blooms a Dahlia, a flower cherished across Latin America that represents perseverance, strength, and vibrant life. Together, these elements honor the resilience of our histories, the richness of our cultures, and the perseverance that continues to shape our communities today.
This design reflects the very essence of Hispanic and Latine Heritage Month: a time to celebrate heritage, recognize resilience, and uplift the voices and contributions of our communities with pride.

LatinXcel is thrilled to announce that Christian, a rising junior, is gearing up for a summer of discovery in Mexico City with the prestigious Colegio de México (ColMex) study abroad program. 🇲🇽 From delving into foreign policy to exploring organized crime and international trade, Christian is eager to dive deep into his studies while immersing himself in the rich culture and enhancing his Spanish skills. 📚🌎
