✨ Calling all Bearcat grown-ups! ✨
Our Apex Glow Run is coming up on Thursday October 22nd, and we need some volunteers to help keep the fun going!
Volunteers will cheer on our runners and mark their laps on their shirts as they glow their way around the track. It’s an easy job with the best view of the Day. 💚🧡

A few important things to know:

🔸 This is an adults-only volunteer role. We love our little ones, but younger siblings can’t come along while you volunteer.

🔸 All volunteers must have a Limited Criminal History form on file with the school. If yours isn’t on file yet, please turn it in to the office by 10/20. It can take a few days to process.
Thank you for helping make this event shine for our kids! 🌟

🦸‍♀️ Calling all Bearcat Superheroes! 🦸‍♂️
We're excited to share that Georgetown Elementary is partnering with Apex Leadership Co. for our main fundraiser this year, and it kicks off on Tuesday, 10/13!
For two weeks, our students will take part in daily leadership and character lessons, earn wristbands and classroom rewards, and build up to a high-energy Glow Run to wrap it all up. ✨
The best part? Every single student gets to participate. Whether or not your family is able to give, your Bearcat will be right in the middle of all the fun.
Once things get started, here's how you can help:

💙 Donate online at www.MyApexEvent.com

🧡 Share with family and friends who'd love to cheer on your student

💙 Encourage your Bearcat to shine at the Glow Run!
Keep an eye out for more details coming home soon. Thank you for supporting our school! 🐾

🚨 SPIRIT DAY NEXT FRIDAY🚨

In honor of Dolly Parton and her work promoting early childhood literacy, Georgetown Elementary will celebrate her in true Dolly fashion! On 9/25, students can dress in their best western attire and bring in their favorite Imagination Library book!

Encourage your students to show a random act of kindness to a fellow bearcat just like Dolly would have!

PTO meeting tonight at 6 PM in the Georgetown Elementary Cafeteria!

09/04/2026

Thank you to Fresh & Fizzy for coming out today and serving our teachers and staff for a bit of appreciation!
Georgetown PTO appreciates our teachers and staff and all they do for our students and try to show that throughout the year! If you want to learn how you can help spread some of that cheer reach out and see how you can get involved!

08/18/2026

For a school with well over 700 kids, we have fewer than 10 parents who regularly attend each meeting. This is the time to get involved in your child's school, and today is the day! First PTO meeting of the year is this evening at 6 PM in the cafeteria! Come and see how you can get involved and make an impact for students and staff.
