Today, the Sunshine Committee brought a little Dolly Day magic to our staff with the Dolly Trolly!

We rolled through campus delivering HTeaO’s “Cup of Ambition” to our amazing staff — because everyone deserves a little Dolly-inspired pick-me-up! And let me just say… the tea was SO good!

A huge thank you to HteaO Georgetown for helping us make Dolly Day extra special and for the delicious drinks. We loved bringing a little sunshine, caffeine, and Dolly to our staff today!

First Title Night of the year.....✅

Thank you so much to everyone who came out tonight to play math games, celebrate student progress, and get personal classroom tours from your Cougar! We loved seeing the smiles and hearing the laughs!

We started the evening with our first PTA meeting of the year. We are excited to welcome a new board president, Gena Barthel!

And shout-out to our Parent Advisory Team for their help with decorations and snacks tonight!

Enjoy your long weekend, Cougars! We'll see you back, ready to learn, on Tuesday!

Last week at Cooper.......

1st Grade Cougars have been learning about their community, and the places and people that are a part of their neighborhoods, through realistic fiction and informational texts. They are thinking critically about how they can "Dream, Achieve, and Lead" as productive members of the community!

5th Grade Cougars explored the properties of matter (texture, flexibility, etc.) in Science. They worked collaboratively to apply engineering design principles to their investigation, and then worked a group to write a shared lab report about their results.
