Perley Integrated Preschool We believe that Preschool/Pre-K is a time for children to fall in love with the educational process.

The philosophy of the Perley Integrated Preschool Program is to ensure that preschool aged children have the opportunity to engage in an integrated setting that is play-based, developmentally appropriate, and with exposure to an inclusive environment. Instruction is based upon individual student strengths, needs, and preferences, implemented by EEC Certified teachers and paraprofessional staff. St

aff members will provide a thoughtful and comprehensive experience, all within a trusted and safe classroom environment. Instruction will occur in the areas of pre-literacy skills, mathematics, and science. A large part of the program focuses on student social and emotional well being. With a goal of helping children become as independent as possible, they will be taught such skills as communication, making family and friend connections, recognizing and labeling emotions, and problem solving in a collaborative environment. Themes will include topics such as cooperation, empathy, taking responsibility, and maintaining self - control.
