Debby Kooy Pottery DKP is the working art studio of Artist-Potter Debby Kooy, creating wheel-thrown Fine-Craft pottery My brand new studio is mostly up and running!

Located at my home in George, Washington, I don't yet have water connected to the building yet, but that's not stopping me, I am working! And I am ready for visitors! I enjoy producing wheel-thrown and hand-built pottery, which is reduction-fired. I also do a bit of watercolor, I am a graphics designer and bluegrass musician. I am learning about copper enameling, which I plan to add into my jewelr

Well, now it can be said: a couple of semi-elderly lady artists have collaborated to create a good number of George, Washington mugs which will be for sale on July 4 at the George Market during the Independence Day Celebration! Patty Neff Carroll and I hope to produce many more mugs (and other great ceramics) in the coming years. We call it GEORGEOUS, for good reason. See you on the 4th of July at George!

The Marlin Handbell Ringers are traveling down from Leavenworth to the flatlands of the Quincy Valley tomorrow to present their annual Christmas concert at the George Community Hall | City of George, Washington It looks a lot like Christmas out here, the Hall has been decked, the Christmas cookies are in the oven, and Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus just might be there greet you at the door!
