Fab to Finish 2026
Thank you to Diversified Technologies Inc. for providing this incredible opportunity for our GLR Welding and Applied Woods students. Over the past three months, students worked closely with representatives from DTI to experience the full manufacturing process — taking an idea from concept to a finished product.
Throughout the project, students designed their parts, observed the cutting and bending process, welded their projects together, and learned about the painting. This hands-on experience gave students valuable insight into real-world manufacturing while helping them develop technical skills, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
We appreciate DTI’s partnership and commitment to supporting career and technical education opportunities for our students.

Support our students and enjoy some farm-fresh eggs! Our students have been hard at work raising and caring for our chickens, and we’re excited to offer fresh eggs for sale to our community. We currently have 10 dozen eggs.

These eggs are for sale for just $2 per dozen. When you buy eggs from G-LR's FFA students, you can be sure that your eggs will be:

✔️ Fresh and high quality
✔️ Supporting hands-on learning in agriculture
✔️ A great source of protein, selenium, and Vitamins A, B12, and D

We have another busy day ahead with Farm Business management competing. Joanna will be preforming in Session 3 and 4 in the State Choir. Ellie and Hailey will receive their Iowa Degrees in session 4. Here is the livestream link if you want to tune in to the fun.

We had a busy day. We kicked our convention off with touring Digital Ag here in Ames. We then had a few minutes to walk around the career and college expo before we went to pack meals for our service project. We attended the second general session where we heard the retiring address from3 of our state officers. Now we are ending our night at FFA fun night.
