Our OAS teachers & principal have been in Frisco, TX, for the Southwestern Union Educators Convention. They’ve learned many new things to bring back to their classrooms. The worship and praise times have been uplifting. It’s so nice to have fellowship & collaboration with other educators from all over the Union. (Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, & New Mexico) Thank you, Southwestern Union, for providing this time for all our teachers.

Join us Sabbath, August 15 at 7 pm at the Gentry Church for a special Teacher and School dedication Vespers. As a new school year begins, let’s come together to pray for our teachers, students, families and schools.

We’ll begin at the Gentry Church and then walk together to OAS and OAA, stopping at each school to pray and dedicate the year ahead to God.

Let’s start the school year on our knees and place our schools in God’s hands.

We hope all our OAS families can come on Thursday night, August 13, at 6:00 PM. We will start in the Youth Center (between the school & the church) & then make our way over to the classrooms. Light refreshments will be provided by our awesome Home & School! See you there!
